Coordination
  • Coordinated a number of training programs and seminars for college lecturers and researchers, IAS Probationers’ training, seminars on state and central budgets etc.from time to time at ISEC.

  • Most important being the Program coordinator for the four week Executive Education program on “Public Policy Program and Governance” initiated by ISEC for the first time involving training for senior officers from Karnataka Administrative Service (KAS). This program was coordinated by me twice in 2019. The program involved training in an international institute of excellence- two batches of trainees were lead by me to the Korea Development Institute, South Korea.

My participation was largely in the area of Expenditure planning and management in the state of Karnataka. Training the government officers in the area of Public expenditure planning and management, were intended to help them in the formulation of budgets to reflect the program outcomes/results. Social sectors such as Health, Education, economic infrastructure related sectors such as Water Resources, Public Works, regulatory departments inclusive of Home and transport were the focus sectors.
