Eligibility

ONLY those students who are currently studying in II year of PU Course from any stream such as Arts, Science and Commerce are eligible to apply for the scheme. Emphasis in the exam is upon testing the Social Science aptitude among the students. The selection criteria would mainly focus on evaluating the potential of the students in understanding society, polity, economy and diversity of socio-cultural history of India.

The filled-in application, along with a DD for Rs. 100/= drawn in favour of the Registrar, Institute for Social and Economic Change, Dr. V K R V Rao Road, Nagarabhavi P. O., Bangalore 560 072, should reach the Institute (to the Registrar’s address) on or before December 2016

The exam is scheduled to be held on 29th January 2017.

The students have the choice to write the exam either in English or in Kannada. The place of the examination will be informed through this website as well as by direct contact with the applicants and their colleges. Therefore, the applicants are expected to provide their proper postal address and telephone numbers to receive the details of the examination.
